Kedgeree (Sunday, 16 points)

Breakfast: Porridge with salt, seeds and honey.

Lunch: 2 boiled eggs on 2 slices of buttered toast.

Drinks: Teas (put honey in one). Instant coffee plus one made from Illy beans. Ribena. Sparkling water and Elderflower.

Fruit: Apple and pear.

Snacks: About 7 chocolates.

Dinner: Kedgeree plus lots of seconds.

Comment 1: Really enjoyed my pear. Need to keep up eating one a day as can feel it doing me good.

Comment 2: Failed to go swimming. Should have gone even if only for a few lengths. As one of the women said yesterday: “It sets you up for the day”.


Saturday (16 points)

Breakfast: Porridge with salt, seeds and honey.

Lunch: 3 boiled eggs with 2 slices of buttered toast.

Snack: 3 chocolates.

Drinks: Teas. Coffee.

Fruit: Pear. Apple.

Dinner: Tinned fish on 2 slices of buttered toast.

Exercise: 1040m swim.

Comment 1: I’m going to buy a swim hat when I finish this post (been meaning to do it for ages).

Comment 2: Need to buy some mango tomorrow to get some fruit variety.

Friday (14 points)

I’m half a pound lighter than this time last week: 10st7 3/4 (67kg).

Breakfast: All Bran.

Lunch: Tongue mayo sandwich.

Fruit: Apple. Pear.

Drinks: Tea. Coffee.

Alcohol: Gallons of white wine.

Dinner: Various different things at All Bar One.

Exercise: 8476 steps.

Comment 1: Don’t go out without a drinking strategy. I should have paced myself by copying what one other person drank and sorted out a reward for that. Can’t remember what I said to whom.

Comment 2: Need to buy a meat joint for next week.

Thursday (11 points)

Breakfast: Porridge with salt and honey.

Fruit: Apple. Pear.

Snack: Two biscuits.

Drinks: Tea. Coffee. Ribena.

Steps: 12186.

Comment 1: I’ve added eating an apple per day and a pear each day to my Camel Library Challenge.

Comment 2: I’m going swimming Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Alcohol: Most of a bottle of champagne (B had 1 glass).

Dinner: Domino’s.

Wednesday (10 points)

Breakfast: Porridge with seeds, salt and honey.

Lunch: Paté sandwich.

Drinks: Teas. Coffee. Ribena.

Dinner: Tuna mayo jacket.

Snack: Left over fried potatoes.

Extra snack: 2 chocolates.

Comment 1: I should have put the potatoes AWAY as soon as I saw them.

Comment 2: Never buy chocolate again as a reward.

Tuesday (10 points)

Breakfast: Porridge with barley.

Lunch: Tongue mayo sandwich.

Dinner: Fish in breadcrumbs with courgettes and new potatoes.

Alcohol: About half a bottle of Riesling.

Drinks: Teas. Coffees. Fruit juice.

Comment 1: I’ve not eaten any fruit in days. If I don’t eat an apple by Friday, I’m going to start buying bananas again.

Comment 2: Need to buy mango as apparently it’s calming.

Buy some grapes (9 points)

Breakfast: All Bran.

Lunch: Halloumi burger and lush chips at The Fox and Hounds.

Drinks: Coffees.

Dinner: Pork chops with buttered jacket.

Snacks: Small amount of chocolate cake. Krispy Kreme Donut. Several chocolates. Another Krispy Kreme Donut. Nutella directly from the pot.

Comment 1: There are some times when I really need to eat, so I need to get easy to eat healthy stuff like grapes in for these occasions.

Comment 2: Luckily didn’t take my purse with us when we went for a short walk otherwise would have detoured by Tesco for a bottle of something strong.
