French women eat lots of vegetables. I’ve added butternut squash to my shopping list.
Drinks: Coffees. Tea.
Lunch at The Falcoln. Pork and black pudding starter followed by chicken livers. Carafe of rosé.
Dinner: Soup followed by lush lamb pie with chips and veg.
Dessert: Crepes Suzette with gallons of brandy.
Other alcohol: Most of a bottle of prosecco.
